SpoilControl and MSCA

In 2026, the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) is celebrating their 30th anniversary, marking three decades of exceptional support for researchers and scientific excellence within Europe and beyond.

Named after Marie Skłodowska-Curie, pioneering scientist, Nobel laureate, and symbol of resilience and innovation, the programme has grown into one of the European Union’s most impactful funding schemes for doctoral education, postdoctoral training, and researcher mobility. Since its creation, the MSCA actions have supported over 150,000 researchers, offering opportunities to develop advanced skills, work across borders, and collaborate with academic and non-academic partners worldwide.

To inaugurate this special anniversary year, the European Commission has shared an inspiring video message from Marie Skłodowska-Curie’s granddaughter, reflecting on her grandmother’s scientific legacy and the importance of fostering global research communities. You can watch it here.

Our MSCA-DN project SpoilControl, proudly contributes to this 30-year legacy by investigating the impact and potential solutions related to the alteration of fermented beverages. Through the MSCA-DN, we support the development of talented doctoral candidates and contribute to advancing scientific knowledge in our field.
