SpoilControl's midterm check consorsium meeting -ISVV in Bordeaux

SpoilControl recently held its Mid-Term Meeting at the ISVV (Institut des Sciences de la Vigne et du Vin) in Bordeaux, bringing together project beneficiaries, associated partners, Doctoral Candidates (DCs), and our European Research Executive Agency (REA) Project Officer.

This important milestone provided an opportunity to review the overall progress of the project, assess the implementation of the training programme, and discuss the recruitment process and working conditions of our doctoral candidates.

A highlight of the meeting was the presentation of each DC's individual research project. Their high-quality work and inspiring presentations reflected the dedication, talent, and scientific excellence fostered within the SpoilControl Doctoral Network.

Despite exceptional challenge, including extreme heat, transport disruptions due to cancelled trains and flights, an unexpected air-conditioning failure, and several last-minute programme adjustments, the meeting was a great success thanks to the flexibility, commitment, and collaborative spirit of everyone involved.

A sincere thank you to all our partners, participants, organisers, and supporters who helped make this event possible.

Together, we continue advancing research, innovation, and international collaboration to train the next generation of scientists.
